Royal Enfield Q1 FY2025 Results:Eicher Motors on Thursday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,101 crore for the quarter ended June 30, up 19.9 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous year.
Its revenue rose 10.2% on a year-on-year basis to a record Rs 4,393 crore, according to a regulatory filing.
According to Zee Business research, Eicher Motors is expected to post a net profit of Rs 1,000 crore on revenue of Rs 4,250 crore for the first fiscal quarter.
Eicher Motors reported Rs 1,165 crore of earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the June quarter, up 14.1% from the year-ago period.
Zee Business analysts had estimated Eicher Motors’ EBITDA growth at 10.7%.
VE Commercial Vehicles’ first-quarter revenue rose 1.8% to Rs 5,070 crore, Eicher Motors said.
Eicher Motors subsidiary Royal Enfield recorded sales of 2,27,736 motorcycles in the first quarter of the current financial year, compared to 2,25,368 units in the same period of the previous year.
According to the study, the motorcycle maker’s sales volumes are expected to reach 2.26 lakh units for the June quarter.
“After a strong performance in FY24, we started this year on a confident note, recording our best quarterly financial performance with Royal Enfield and VECV posting consistent growth,” said Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director, Eicher Motors.
VECV recorded its best sales ever in the first quarter, gaining volumes in key segments and reflecting its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, Lal added.
Earlier on Thursday, shares of Eicher Motors ended 0.5 per cent lower at Rs 4,578.8 apiece on BSE.
