For Halloween, Riverdale leading ladies, Camila Mendes, Lili ReinhartAnd Madeleine Petsch have teamed up again to unveil an exciting trio. The stars of Riverdale are auditioning as Batman villains this Halloween, a.k.a. Sirens of Riverdale Gotham City.
Their collaborative Instagram post served as the big reveal of their Halloween 2023 looks, paying homage to DC’s famous villains/anti-heroines. Each costume was inspired by timeless interpretations of the characters. Reinhart donned Harley Quinn’s iconic red and black jester outfit; Mendes sported a Catwoman ensemble reminiscent of the ’60s; and Petsch was inspired by Uma Thurman’s portrait of Poison Ivy.

Take inspiration from the classic Batman animated series In this rendition, Reinhart showcased the character’s flamboyant style in a latex bodysuit, a captivating mix of red and black that effortlessly hugged her figure.
The ensemble, further enhanced by her daring neckline, was both daring and true to Harley’s daring nature. With this outfit, Reinhart wasn’t just wearing a suit; she became Gotham’s vivacious vixen, once again proving her versatility as an actress and impeccable sense of style.
Is a Gotham City Sirens Movie in the Works?
In 2021, James Gunnco-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios, mentioned that he was not actively developing a Gotham City Sirens movie. Although Gunn acknowledged previous discussions with the Harley Quinn actress, Margot Robbie, about collaborating again, he confirmed that the subject of GCS had never been discussed. Recently, Karen Gillan, known for her role as Nebula in guardians of the galaxy, has shown interest in portraying Poison Ivy in Gunn’s DC Universe roster. Yet, as of now, Gunn’s intentions regarding this iconic Batman adversary in the DCU remains a mystery.
