This Friday, the NBA will launch its first tournament of the season during the 2023-24 regular season. All 30 NBA teams will participate in the tournament, competing not only for the NBA Cup, but also for $500,000 in prize money that awaits each member of the winning team.
NBA teams are divided into six groups of five teams each. These pools are made up of teams within the same conference, but not necessarily from the same division. Each team plays four group matches, playing each team in their pool once, with the winners progressing to the round of 16. In-season tournament results will count toward team rankings in the regular season.
