ACG has joined the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Flagship Network, following the certification of its capsule manufacturing plant in Pithampur, India.
ACG, the country’s largest capsule manufacturer and integrated supplier and service provider to the pharmaceutical industry, said the certification followed rigorous audits of more than 25 use cases for the facility that led to the manufacturing of superior products and transformed operations, creating new benchmarks in meeting deadlines. production.

WEF’s Global Lighthouse Network is a community of manufacturers demonstrating leadership in using Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to transform factories, value chains and business models for compelling financial and operational returns, says the ACG note.
The initiative, a collaboration between the WEF and Mckinsey & Company, in addition to independent experts, assesses and designates factories and value chains that join the GLN. The network has seen an increase since its creation, from 16 to 153 lighthouses.
